Black Star Scholars Tutoring

Black Star Scholars Program offers one-on-one private tutoring for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. We have small group programs as well through our free Saturday University Program.

We match students with tutors who specialize in the area where the students needs the most help.

The cost for tutoring is $40/hour, but you can pay as you go with no binding contracts or obligations. Tutoring schedules are flexible with options as low as one hour each week.

Million Father March 2012

...and surprisingly, more fathers than I've ever seen, meeting and greeting teachers... bending over and reminding children to "pay attention, do your work," and of course the customary "don't act a fool on the first day of school!" The Million Father March is a major first step in the right direction for many fathers.
