Building Chicago’s Next CEO: Empowering Future Leaders Through Management Skills

The Building Chicago’s Next CEO (BCNC) program is back for 2024, offering young leaders aged 16 to 35 the opportunity to develop essential managerial skills to propel their careers forward. In an ever-evolving business landscape, having the right foundation in management is key to creating impactful change, and BCNC is dedicated to equipping the next generation of decision-makers with these vital tools.

This year’s theme, “Fundamentals of Management,” focuses on four core areas that are central to success in any industry:

  • Continuing Education: Cultivating a mindset of lifelong learning.

  • Finance: Understanding the numbers behind effective management.

  • Marketing: Building strategies to connect with and expand audiences.

  • Customer Service/Relations: Developing strong relationships to enhance business success.

Participants will engage with these topics through dynamic sessions, gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that can be applied in their future careers.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion and have the opportunity to showcase their learnings, demonstrating the knowledge and skills they’ve gained to peers, mentors, and community leaders.
