The Black Star Project, in partnership with Absolutely Anything Essential, is proud to present the 5th Annual Bronzeville Juneteenth Celebration—a vibrant, family-friendly event honoring Black freedom, culture, and community resilience.

📅 Date: Saturday, June 14th, 2025
🕚 Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This year’s celebration will feature:

  • Live performances by local artists

  • A Kids Zone with fun activities and youth vendors

  • Delicious free food and community resource tables

Juneteenth is more than a celebration—it’s a time to honor the legacy of freedom, reflect on our progress, and uplift the voices and talents within our community. With hundreds of attendees expected, we’re creating a space for joy, unity, healing, and empowerment on Chicago’s South Side.
